Vistrix ss located in Gladstone, Queensland but due to the wonders of the internet, email and skype is able to work for customers anywhere in the country and further afield. Lesley and her husband, Gary, run the business with Lesley looking after the technical side and building the websites. Lesley has over 30 years experience working in corporate IT departments in a variety of roles from her initial start as a programmer to managing a team of designers and developers and also business consultancy. The last twelve years prior to moving to Australia were spent working for the largest technology company in New Zealand. She is originally English but has spent 20 years in New Zealand and currently is living and working here in Australia.
The goal for Vistrix is to build affordable websites for small businesses who cannot afford thousands of dollars for a custom designed site but need an online presence. We achieve that by utilising pre-written designs (known as themes) that have been professionally coded and are of premium quality. Once a business has created their own content, added their photographs and illustrations, and their own logo the site is unique to their business. A good analogy is buying a good quality suit and adjusting and accessorising it as opposed to going to a tailor for a bespoke suit. The added bonus is that as the sites are built using WordPress, with a little training website owners can make changes to their website themselves which means they are free from the expense and restriction of having to pay a developer to change details on their site.
