How do I get one?

There are four stages to complete before you have a fantastic new website.

1.  Choose a Design

Browse through our gallery of designs and think about the following:

  • What sort of look and feel would suit my business?
  • What information would I like on the home page and how would it be organised?
  • How many services does my business offer?
  • What other pages would I need?
  • Do I have lots of photographs or illustrations for my business?
  • Do I want videos on my website?
  • Do I have documents to download e.g. product brochures or reports?
  • Have I already got a logo designed?
  • Do you already have colours determined? If, not do you like light or dark, and which colours do you think would suit your business?

These bullet points will help you narrow down your choice.   Go to our demo sites and browse through them to see what the whole site might look like but remember most of the designs will suit any type of business so don’t be restricted by our examples. If you are overwhelmed by choice and don’t know where to begin just give us a call and we will help you, or just send us a link of a couple of websites you like the look of and we’ll take it from there.

2. Decide on a Price Plan

Our two price plans are both affordable ways to get a professional website. The standard price plan is aimed at getting your first presence on the web.  The premium price plan is aimed at businesses who want to actively market themselves online.    Click here to view our price plans with full details of what each plan includes.  Once you have decided on a design and a price plan you can place your order here. We will get back to you within 24 hrs during the working week.

3. Prepare your Content

Your content is what makes your website unique to your business. It is your online showcase and so it is important that it describes your business in an interesting, accurate and informative way. You want to capture your visitors attention so your information needs to be simple and to the point. It must clearly explain your services, how you do business and how customers can find you or contact you. You can provide your content as Microsoft Word documents or text files.   Let us know the page names you require and we will set up the pages and enter it for you.

If you prefer, we can provide you with a website with dummy Latin text in the pages as a starting point so you can go into the administration side of the site and update it at your leisure.

If you are unsure of what content you should provide download our Content Guide here and simply fill it in.

4. Set Up and Launch

While you are preparing your content we will build you a website ready to take it. We will install various pieces of software you will need for your site and all the extras depending upon the price plan you have chosen. Documentation on your site set up will be provided along with any login user names and passwords.

Once it is all completed we will hand it over to you so you can keep it up to date and add new information as required. To help you do this we will provide you with some free online video tutorials on how to use WordPress, our preferred content management system.
